At sunkissed Training Academy we strive to help all our students gain the qualifications that they need to get that dream job or grow their careers. So we invest a lot of time searching for different funding options to help all our new and existing students pay for the courses they want to do.

to get help with funding you need to meet certain criteria. If you meet this criteria let me know which courses you are interested in doing and i can put you in touch with a adviser who will help you claim for this help.
If you are not eligible let us know and we can see what we can do for you to help you further your education and training.
Who is eligible?
aged 14-16, in education, and at risk of achieving fewer than 5 GCSEs grades A-C, or
aged 16-25 and not in education, training or work (or working less than 16 hours a week)
The following are not eligible:
applications for expeditions or overseas travel
applications for fundraising activities for charity
applications for living costs.
How does it help?
Young people can receive:
support from a Prince’s Trust staff member or volunteer with their application and planning next steps
cash award of up to £500 to pay for training fees, equipment, tools and other items
please note that the average Award is £180 and it is not possible to support every young person with a £500 grant.

tell them you want to apply for development award to do a training course to help to get a job.
To apply for a shaw trust grant you need to visit your local jobcentre ask to speak to a employment advisor. Explain to them you are looking to do some training courses to help get a job of to further your career. They will then go through the criteria with you and see if you are eligible.
Professional and Career Development Loan (PCDL)
Professional and Career Development Loans are bank loans to pay for courses and training that help with your career or help get you into work.
You may be able to borrow between £300 and £10,000. Loans are usually offered at a reduced interest rate and the government pays interest while you’re studying.
How to apply
Find out which banks offer the loan and order an application pack by calling the National Careers service on 0800 100 900
Fill in the application form and send it to the bank.
The bank will decide if you qualify for a loan.
You take out the loan with the bank and agree to their repayment conditions.
